We kicked off our very first Dance Ambassador Highlight Sessions with none other than Zoey — and what a start it was! As part of our new Dance Ambassador program, each selected ambassador receives their own personalized photoshoot, designed to celebrate their individual style, energy, and movement. Zoey’s shoot set the tone for everything we hoped this project would be.

Our connection with Zoey goes back a few years. We first met her during New York Fashion Week, where she and our daughter Aryana walked the runway together. Even then, her poise and presence stood out — so it felt full circle to work with her again, this time behind the lens.

For her session, Zoey chose a relaxed, urban vibe that matched her confident, down-to-earth personality. Think street style meets city chic, with dance elements woven seamlessly throughout. While the images might give off an effortlessly cool vibe, we’ll let you in on a secret: it was freezing that day. Despite the chill, Zoey showed up and showed out, pushing through the cold like the true professional she is.

We started the shoot in Virginia Beach’s Town Center, where the clean lines and modern architecture gave us a bold urban backdrop. From there, we headed to the Vibe District, capturing her movements against one of the district’s vibrant wall murals — a perfect pop of color and creativity. We wrapped the session at the Virginia Beach Boardwalk, where the ocean breeze added an extra bit of drama to the final frames.

This session was not just a celebration of Zoey’s talent, but a reflection of what our Dance Ambassador program is all about: empowering young dancers to express who they are, both on and off the stage.
