Who Are We?

Becoming husband and wife was one of the greatest blessings of our lives — but becoming business partners has been a beautiful and unexpected gift. This doesn’t feel like work to us; it feels like living out a dream we didn’t even know our hearts were wishing for. Every moment we get to create together, serve others, and capture memories feels like a piece of our purpose unfolding.

Our love for photography began with Lewis, inspired by watching his grandmother capture everyday moments with her camera. That passion grew from childhood curiosity into something bigger during college, when Lewis took a photography class and started photographing events at his local church — realizing how powerful it was to preserve memories and miracles through a lens. We first met while serving in the United States Air Force in 2008, forming a strong friendship that lasted even after life took us in different directions.

Years later, while living in different countries, a few texts rekindled our connection. We knew quickly that what we had was something rare. In 2019, we got engaged and married, and decided to pursue our creative dreams together, turning Lewis’ passion into a business we both love. In 2020, during the heart of the pandemic, we welcomed our miracle daughter, born at just 23 weeks. Life hasn't slowed down since — and neither has our love for capturing beautiful, lasting memories for others.

We are a blessed blended family

We knew our union was something special when our kiddos blended so effortlessly—it felt like family from day one. When we got married, I (Shardae) brought two amazing kids, Aryana and Kevin, and Lewis brought his awesome son, Aiden. The boys are only six months apart and quickly became the best of friends, while Aryana naturally stepped into her role as the world’s best big sister—always keeping the boys in line (and keeping us laughing)! Not long after, our family grew again when we welcomed our sweet daughter, Kehlani. She truly completed our blended bunch. Early on, the kids came up with the idea to combine our last names—McNeal and Guest—and started calling us “The McGuests.” We thought it was the cutest thing ever, and to this day, they still call us that. It’s a name that reminds us daily how beautifully our family came together.
