Aubrey’s Ambassador Highlight Session was a beautiful blend of grace, style, and pure performance energy. Set in the charming Freemason District of Norfolk, Virginia — with its historic cobblestone streets and weathered brick facades — the session felt like a step back in time, perfectly matching the vintage ballerina aesthetic she envisioned.

We first heard about Aubrey through our daughter, who would rave about her stage presence and powerhouse performances. So when we officially welcomed her into our first-ever Dance Ambassador Program, we were excited to see that energy translated into a styled portrait session — and she did not disappoint.

From the moment she arrived, Aubrey was completely prepared — bringing multiple outfits that added variety and versatility to her gallery, all while staying true to the elegant, vintage theme. Her poses were polished, creative, and full of movement, making our job behind the camera an absolute dream.

Of course, every shoot has its surprises, and this one came courtesy of the wind! During one particularly beautiful setup, her tutu kept catching the breeze and stealing the scene — making for some laughs, some unexpected bloopers, and, honestly, a few epic wind-swept shots we wouldn’t trade for anything.

The Freemason District offered the perfect canvas for Aubrey’s vision. From blue-covered staircases to quaint alleyways and historic architecture, the setting gave her timeless ballerina look a storybook feel. The contrast of classical elegance against the rustic, weathered streets made for a striking visual narrative that felt both fresh and nostalgic.

Aubrey’s session reminded us why we love what we do: helping young dancers see themselves as both artists and individuals. She brought creativity, confidence, and passion to every frame — and we’re so proud to have her as one of our ambassadors.
